Set up Enterprise
An ApiGo account and an ApiGo workspace are different things. Your email identifies the account you sign in with. The workspace determines who shares funds, API keys, permissions, and usage visibility.
Personal → Enterprise → Invite members → Fund and assign → Manage
Your email provider does not determine the workspace type
You can use Gmail, Naver Mail, Yahoo Japan Mail, or another public email provider to apply for an Enterprise Workspace and become its first administrator. ApiGo does not require a company-domain email for an Enterprise Workspace administrator.
You can also invite members at public or company-domain email addresses. A shared email domain is not required. Each person only needs access to the mailbox that receives the application or member invitation.
The important email rules are:
- Activate the Enterprise Workspace with the same email used in the enterprise application.
- Accept a member invitation while signed in with the exact email address that was invited.
- Choose the account email your organization can continue to access and recover.
1. Start with your account and Personal Workspace
When you use ApiGo individually, your account has a Personal Workspace for your own funds, keys, and usage.
Activating an Enterprise Workspace does not replace or delete your personal workspace. The same account gains another workspace, and you can switch between them. This lets you keep personal experiments separate from company-funded work.
2. Apply for and activate Enterprise
- Open Apply for enterprise.
- Enter the company name and the email that will become the initial administrator.
- After approval, open the email sent to that address and copy the invite code.
- Open Activate enterprise.
- Use the same application email, complete email verification, and activate the workspace.
If the email already belongs to an ApiGo account, the new Enterprise Workspace is added to that account. If it is a new email, activation creates the account and its workspaces.
3. Invite members
- Switch to the Enterprise Workspace.
- Open Workspace → Company.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter the member's email and choose Member or Manager.
- Ask the recipient to sign in or register with that exact email and accept the invitation.
After acceptance, the member receives a protected default API key. An Admin or Manager can assign additional API keys to that member when needed.
4. Fund the workspace and assign access
The Enterprise Workspace has a shared enterprise workspace balance. An Enterprise Admin adds funds under Workspace → Billing. Calls made with keys in that workspace draw from the same balance.
You do not need to transfer a fixed number of tokens to each person. Instead:
- An Admin funds the workspace and can manage members, keys, and team usage.
- An Admin or Manager assigns API keys to members and sets spend or runtime limits.
- A Member uses assigned keys and sees their own permitted usage scope.
Use API Keys to create and limit keys. Use Pricing and billing for top-ups, invoices, and balance behavior. Read Limits and request enforcement to understand how shared funds, key caps, and Workspace runtime capacity combine.
5. Manage the team
Use Workspace → Company to review invitations, resend an invitation, change roles, suspend access, or remove a member. Suspending or removing a member disables their active API keys.
Admins and Managers can review team-level information in Overview, Usage, and Billing. Members remain scoped to their own data. See the Enterprise overview for the complete workspace capability summary.
Common questions
Do Enterprise administrators need a company email address?
No. A public email address can administer an Enterprise Workspace. The email domain does not define the workspace type or role.
Does Enterprise convert my Personal Workspace?
No. Enterprise is added as another workspace on the same account. Your Personal Workspace remains separate.
Must all members use the same company domain?
No. Invite the email each person will use to sign in. They must accept the invitation with that same email.
Who pays for member usage?
The Enterprise Admin funds the Enterprise Workspace. Member-assigned keys use that workspace's shared balance, subject to the limits configured for each key.
