What is the smallest billable unit?
Each request is billed pro-rata against the per-1M-token rate, rounded to cents and posted in real time.
When are invoices issued?
Stripe issues a separate invoice for each new top-up in Workspace → Billing. Multiple top-ups can also be exported as a non-tax consolidated statement.
What happens when the balance runs out?
Calls return 402 insufficient_balance immediately; API keys stay intact and resume the moment you top up.
Do model prices change?
We mirror upstream provider price changes, announce them in-workspace, and keep a minimum 7-day transition window.
